Privacy Policy

Skova (“we”, “our”) provides an AI-powered cosmetic skin-analysis app. This policy explains what we collect and how we use it. We keep it minimal on purpose.
The short version: your selfies are processed to generate your analysis and are not stored on our servers. Your results and history live on your device. We never sell your data or use your photos to train AI models.
What we collect
- Selfie photos you take for analysis. Each photo is sent securely to our processing backend and to our AI provider to generate your result, then discarded. We do not keep your photos. Photos and results are saved only on your device.
- Skin profile — the onboarding answers you give (skin type, concerns, age range, goals).
- Anonymous device identifier — a random ID created on your device, not linked to your identity, used to group analyses and limit abuse.
- Usage data — skin scores, language, and timestamps, kept in aggregate to run and improve the service.
- Purchase information — when you subscribe, the purchase is validated through Apple/Google and recorded (product, platform, date). We never see your card details.
What we do NOT collect
- Your name, email (unless you email us), phone number, or precise location.
- We do not sell your data and do not use your photos to train AI models.
How we use it
- To generate your skin analysis and personalized routine.
- To keep your scan history and progress (stored on your device).
- To operate subscriptions and prevent abuse.
- To improve the app using aggregate, non-identifying statistics.
Third parties
- Anthropic — AI processing of your selfie to produce the analysis.
- Apple / Google — subscription payments.
These providers process data under their own privacy terms.
Data retention & your rights
- Photos: not retained on our servers.
- On-device data (history, profile): clear it anytime in Settings → Data, or by uninstalling the app.
- Aggregate server logs (scores/language/anonymous ID): request deletion by contacting us.
Children
Skova is not intended for anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
